We can't wait to see all our friends again on Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Lake Mary Farmers' Market.  It seems like forever since we've been there.

It was good to see some of our customers  at the 14th Annual Lakeland Pig Fest at Tiger Town, and, yes, even some of you showed up last weekend at the 6th Annual Smoke on the Water BBQ Contest in Winter Haven.

Forty-six professional teams from across the country competed in Winter Haven, where we  placed 8th with our brisket and 12th  for our pulled pork. Our chicken came in 15th and ribs placed 19th in Lakeland, where we faced 77  of the top BBQ teams in the nation.  It was so much fun and lots of work.  Special thanks to  son-in-law Dan Gilmer, son Kenny Backhaus, and Grandpa Chuck Backhaus for helping us. Love you guys!!!!!
